Specialist Tuition
Musiquest can
provide specialist instrumental tuition in schools, or at home.
Tuition is tailored to suit individual requirements, and can emphasise
any style from the mainstream classical through to jazz and rock. Our
lessons include work on :

Techniques specific to the instrument, including physical aspects of
playing such as posture, hand positioning, breath control and
co-ordination.

Interpretation of various types of notation.

Aspects of style and music history.

Improvisation and basic composition.

Presentation and performance skills.
Tuition is available for :

Guitar – acoustic or electric in any style.

Electric Bass.
-
Flute or Recorders.

Saxophone or Clarinet.

Keyboard, including basic Piano.

World Music instruments as used in Musiquest workshops.

Computer-based composition techniques.
Tuition is available for students of any age, and at any level from
absolute beginner through to advanced performer, with examination
study if required, at a cost of:
£24 per hour,
with a minimum lesson time of 30 minutes.
